They say confession is good for the soul. If not, then perhaps this will serve as my digital SOS. I enjoy writing. It might not be considered “writing” so much as oozing my inner thoughts out onto paper. I have numerous journals, notebooks, single pages, and fastfood napkins stored about as reminders to myself that occasionally I do have a life, or a dream, or dream about having a life. In college, I blogged on our student website, where I served as Romance & Dating Editor. (Oh, the blind leading the blind.) When myspace and facebook eclipsed our ragtag student effort, I moved to LJ. Eventually I was consumed by the dark side and bit from the myspace fruit. And I admit I do enjoy myspace to a degree. However, while I do enjoy mystalking and sharing pictures with family and close friends, myspace is not an effective “blogosphere.” Myspace blogs are for cute widgets or explaining a teeny-bopper drama. I dislike having to use so much discretion and/or consideration of others when their pages are linked to my page.

pondering the universe

WARNING: I WAS NOT AN ENGLISH MAJOR AND THE FOLLOWING SLAUGHTERING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE MAY BE FOUND OFFENSIVE TO THOSE WHO KNOW BETTER THAN I WHAT THE ACTUAL PURPOSE OF A SEMI COLON TRULY IS!

My perspective differs from most, partly because I take few things seriously. Laugh, people! Why must everything be so serious! I relish everything southern. Love is the very purpose of our existence and I finally found some. Music is the beat to which I march (even though I cannot carry a tune with a forklift!)

I have no idea what I plan to talk about here and even further no idea why you should read it but hey, you are obviously bored because you read this far!

I worry constantly; and, after I have worried about absolutely everything that I could possibly worry about, I worry about worrying too much.

Sometimes I wonder if the powers that be got something bassackwards and I’m actually serving my time in purgatory now and my real life is yet to begin.
